Job Summary
A company is looking for a Drawback Specialist responsible for managing drawback claims and ensuring compliance with customs regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately submit drawback claims and entries to US Customs and Border Protection (CBP)
- Maintain a processing schedule and ensure high customer satisfaction by providing support and information to clients
- Review and prepare documentation for data entry staff and inform clients about their responsibilities regarding record maintenance
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Three (3) years of experience in customs brokerage
- Knowledge of CBP rules, regulations, and tariff schedules
- Understanding of import and export transactions and relevant documentation
- Ability to prioritize workload and perform basic math operations
