DRG Auditor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a DRG Revenue Integrity Auditor who performs audits on inpatient charts for accurate coding compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct chart reviews to ensure accurate coding and compliance with federal laws
• Analyze records for coding opportunities and maintain quality of reviews
• Provide training and support for new hires and assist with project data analysis

Required Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in an acute care setting or as a DRG Auditor or Clinical Documentation Specialist
• Experience with electronic medical record systems and telecommuting
• Strong analytical skills and familiarity with MS Office applications
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients and projects
• Maintenance of professional credentials through continuing education
