DRG Auditor III

Job Summary

A company is looking for a DRG Auditor III.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct MS-DRG and/or APR-DRG coding reviews to verify accuracy of DRG assignment and reimbursement
• Utilize industry and proprietary tools to maximize overpayment identifications
• Document audit results using coding guidelines and rules

Qualifications:

• Minimum High School Diploma
• One or more of the following credentials: CCS, RHIA, RHIT
• 4+ years of MS DRG/APR DRG coding experience
• Expert knowledge of AHA Coding Guidelines and DRG reimbursement methodologies
• Prior DRG retrospective overpayment identification auditing experience preferred
