Driver Manager

Job Summary

Responsible for leading transportation and driver operations, the full-time Driver Manager will ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies while overseeing driver performance and yard operations in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee driver performance, equipment management, and terminal operations to ensure timely and safe delivery of goods
• Manage compliance with DOT regulations and handle audits, corrective actions, and operational decision-making
• Coordinate logistics, scheduling, and vendor management to optimize transportation efficiency and service quality

Required qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience; 10+ years of CDL or transportation experience may substitute for a degree
• Previous supervisory or management experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet operations
• Demonstrated knowledge of DOT Hours of Service rules and transportation regulations
• Working knowledge of geographic service areas and route planning
• Understanding of labor laws and company policy compliance
