Driver Recruiter

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Driver Recruiter will manage the recruitment and selection process for qualified drivers, making pre-approval decisions and ensuring compliance with DOT regulations while utilizing effective communication and sales techniques to enhance candidate engagement.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct initial conversations with potential drivers to gather qualification information and make real-time pre-approval decisions
• Utilize independent judgment to assess and determine the approval, pass, or rejection of driver applications from various submission channels
• Provide orientation information to qualified drivers and coordinate transportation and lodging to maximize applicant show rates

Required qualifications:

• Two to three years of experience in recruiting or sales, preferably within the transportation industry
• A bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is preferred
• One to two years of experience with PC-based systems, particularly Windows
• Proficiency in recruitment techniques and compliance requirements
• Strong decision-making abilities and effective multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
