Drug Alcohol Counselor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Drug and Alcohol Counselor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide counseling to members through various communication methods to monitor their recovery progress
• Complete assessments, offer therapeutic strategies, and support members in changing their substance use behaviors
• Collaborate with team members, attend meetings, and maintain up-to-date availability for a minimum of 4 hours per month

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in CBT and behavioral support for substance use disorders
• MS/MA or BS/BA in a related field
• Proficiency in evidence-based practices and ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals
• Hold an active Chemical Dependency Professional License in Delaware and have at least a Bachelors degree
• Preferably have unrestricted credentials to work independently
