Drug Alcohol Counselor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Drug and Alcohol Counselor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide counseling to members through text-based chat, video calls, and phone calls to monitor progress on recovery journey
• Complete multidimensional assessments and offer therapeutic strategies to deal with temptations and cravings
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive experience for all members and provide feedback to the product development team

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience delivering CBT and/or behavioral support for substance use disorders
• MS/MA and/or BS/BA in a related field
• Proficient in evidence-based practices such as Motivational Interviewing, Medication Assisted Treatments, and Relapse Prevention
• Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals from different disciplines
• Hold an active state credential from the state of South Carolina credentialing board, such as Addiction Counselor Associate
