Job Summary

A company is looking for a Drug and Alcohol Counselor (LAC, LCAC or CADC) in Kentucky for a part-time, remote position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide counseling to members through various communication methods to monitor progress on their recovery journey
  • Conduct initial assessments and offer therapeutic strategies to help members deal with temptations and cravings
  • Collaborate with team members and provide feedback to ensure a positive member experience

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in delivering CBT and behavioral support for substance use disorders
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proficiency in evidence-based practices such as Motivational Interviewing and Medication Assisted Treatments
  • Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals from different disciplines
  • Hold an active state credential (license/certification) issued from the state of Kentucky credentialing board
