Druid Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Druid Consultant with 5+ years of hands-on Apache Druid experience for a remote contract role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy a solution for latency and high throughput telemetry analytics based on Apache Druid
• Build analytics and AI platform with Apache Druid, Kafka, Flink, Spark for AI model training and serving pipelines
• Optimize performance of large scale and high volume Druid clusters

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on Apache Druid experience in architecture, data schema/pipeline, troubleshooting, and configuration optimization
• Experience in building analytics and AI platforms with Apache Druid, Kafka, Flink, Spark
• Understanding of large scale and high volume Druid clusters
• Experience with hardware planning and cost optimization
• Experience with 0.5PB of data stored, 40 billion+ rows per month, 40 servers, and 1000 users
