Drupal Developer

Job Summary

To support the NASA Consolidated Applications and Platform Services contract, the full-time remote Drupal Developer will manage the upgrade of an existing Drupal application from version 9.x to 11, ensuring compliance and collaboration within an Agile/Scrum team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Upgrade the existing Drupal application, including assessment, planning, execution, testing, and documentation delivery
• Develop with 508 compliance in mind and collaborate with the Agile/Scrum team during sprint activities
• Partner with NASA Product Owners to gather requirements and ensure alignment with mission needs

Required qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Drupal development and administration, including major version upgrades
• Proficiency in PHP and Drupal APIs, with experience in remediating deprecated API usage
• Experience in custom Drupal module and theme development
• Familiarity with Drupal 11 architecture and web security principles
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience
