Drupal Developer
Job Summary
To support a home page redesign and enhance site search capabilities, the part-time contract Drupal Developer will manage website content, ensure security best practices, and troubleshoot technical issues while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and update website content using the Drupal Platform as the CMS
- Ensure website security by updating software, plugins, and themes, and implementing security protocols
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to website functionality and user access, collaborating with IT support and vendors
Required qualifications
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web development frameworks
- Experience with Drupal search engine technologies, particularly Solr
- Knowledge of website security best practices, including SSL/TLS encryption and firewalls
- Experience in front-end development with the Drupal Platform and web hosting environments
- Ability to ensure content consistency and compliance with standards such as WCAG accessibility
