Drupal Web Developer
Job Summary
To support a home page redesign and enhance site search capabilities, the part-time Drupal Web Developer will manage and update website content, ensure security protocols, and troubleshoot technical issues while working remotely on a contract basis.
Key responsibilities
- Manages and updates website content using the Drupal Platform as the Content Management System (CMS)
- Ensures website security by updating software, plugins, and themes, and implementing security protocols
- Troubleshoots technical issues related to website functionality and collaborates with IT support and external vendors
Required qualifications
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages and frameworks
- Proficiency in Drupal search engine technologies including Solr
- Experience with front end development on the Drupal Platform and web hosting environments
- Knowledge of website security best practices, including SSL/TLS encryption and malware detection/prevention
