Dry Etch Process Engineer

Job Summary

To develop and optimize plasma etch processes for next-generation memory devices, the full-time Dry Etch Process Engineer will work remotely while collaborating with cross-functional teams and equipment vendors to enhance critical process metrics and drive yield improvement.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop, qualify, and sustain dry etch unit processes for advanced memory technologies
• Optimize critical process metrics including CD control, etch profile, selectivity, and uniformity
• Drive defect reduction and yield improvement using metrology, statistical data analysis, and corrective actions

Required qualifications:

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• B.S. with 3+ years of semiconductor processing experience with emphasis on dry etch/plasma etch
• Experience in semiconductor process development or sustaining engineering, including DOE planning/execution
• Working knowledge of plasma etch fundamentals and process characterization
• Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional technical teams
