Job Summary
Developing and optimizing plasma etch processes for next-generation memory devices, the full-time Dry Etch Process Engineer will work remotely, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance critical dimension control, defect performance, and process maturity from R&D to high-volume manufacturing.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop, qualify, and sustain dry etch unit processes for advanced memory technologies
- Optimize critical process metrics such as CD control, etch profile, and uniformity
- Drive defect reduction and yield improvement through data analysis and corrective actions
Required qualifications:
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- B.S. with 3+ years of semiconductor processing experience focused on dry etch/plasma etch
- Experience in semiconductor process development or sustaining engineering, including DOE planning and statistical data analysis
- Working knowledge of plasma etch fundamentals and process characterization
- Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional technical teams
