Dual Certified FNP/PMHNP

Job Summary

To support a growing telehealth practice, the remote contractor Dual Certified FNP/PMHNP will provide virtual primary care and psychiatric evaluations, manage medication, and develop treatment plans for a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide virtual primary care and psychiatric evaluations, including medication management and follow-up care
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions in family medicine and mental health settings
• Utilize telehealth platforms for patient care management, ensuring accurate documentation within electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Active dual certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
• Licensure to practice as a nurse practitioner in one or more states, with prescriptive authority
• DEA license for prescribing controlled substances or willingness to obtain
• Prior telehealth experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently in a virtual environment and maintain malpractice insurance
