Job Summary
To support the Fuel Project, the home-based Due Diligence Senior Officer will conduct comprehensive due diligence reviews, assess risks, and provide advisory services to ensure alignment with UN core values.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and operationalize the UNOPS Due Diligence Policy through research and screenings of funding sources
- Prepare and consolidate due diligence reports, including executive summaries and risk-based recommendations
- Assist stakeholders in interpreting due diligence policies, particularly related to Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Law, International Relations, Finance, or related fields with 4 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with 2 years of experience
- Professional certifications such as CAMS, CIA, or CFE are desired
- 4 years of professional due diligence experience, preferably in an international setting
- Fluency in English and Arabic is required
- Experience in development or humanitarian contexts is desired
