Due Diligence Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Due Diligence Quality Control Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform credit and compliance review and testing on closed mortgage files
• Accurately enter applicable data from the loan file into the underwriting platform
• Analyze loan files to determine Borrower's overall credit profile and risk regarding Ability to Repay

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• 4 years of recent experience in Due Diligence Underwriting closed loans for a TPR firm
• Knowledge and experience with AUS reports, manual underwriting, and Agency Guidelines
• Strong FHA, VA, USDA, Conventional, and Non-QM guideline knowledge
• Confidence performing complex income analysis with multiple businesses and REOs
• Must have worked for a Third-Party Review organization; LAURA MAC experience is required
