Job Summary

A company is looking for a Due Diligence Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

Review mortgage loan files for accuracy and compliance with investor guidelines
Perform due diligence reviews of loan applications and documentation
Analyze borrower credit profiles and calculate income to assess repayment capacity

Required Qualifications

5+ years of current experience in underwriting, preferably with Quality Control experience
Minimum 1-year of Due Diligence experience at a mortgage lending institution
Strong knowledge of Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac guidelines and QM/ATR
Familiarity with Non-QM loan processes and requirements
Ability to work with multiple investor guidelines and overlays
