Due Diligence Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Due Diligence Quality Control Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform credit and compliance review and testing on closed mortgage files
• Accurately enter applicable data from the loan file into the underwriting platform
• Analyze loan files for Borrower's overall credit profile and risk determination

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Some college preferred or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 5 years' experience in due diligence underwriting
• Strong knowledge of FHA, VA, USDA, Conventional, and Non-QM guidelines
• Experience with AUS reports and manual underwriting
• Must have worked for a Third-Party Review organization
