Job Summary

A company is looking for an Intake Durable Medical Equipment Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate ordering and delivery of durable medical equipment (DME) products and services through effective communication with patients and clinicians
• Process patient information accurately and timely to enhance satisfaction and optimize revenue, including documentation and compliance with payer requirements
• Maintain knowledge of billing and reimbursement guidelines, and perform tasks with minimal supervision while exercising independent judgment

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of computer functions and basic Microsoft Office applications
• Basic knowledge of the medical field, with prior experience in home medical equipment preferred
• Detail-oriented with excellent documentation skills
