Dynatrace Engineer

Job Summary

To design, implement, and manage comprehensive observability strategies, the remote contract Dynatrace Engineer will perform hands-on configuration, optimize queries using Dynatrace Query Language (DQL), and troubleshoot systemic infrastructure issues while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end hands-on Dynatrace configuration, environment installation, and day-to-day platform management
• Write, modify, and optimize complex queries using Dynatrace Query Language (DQL)
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and remediate systemic infrastructure issues and performance bottlenecks

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of direct, hands-on experience working within Dynatrace environments
• Proven expertise writing and modifying Dynatrace Query Language (DQL) scripts
• Solid track record troubleshooting complex application performance and infrastructure alerts
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
