Job Summary
To support a law firm's billing operations, the full-time remote E-Billing Analyst will manage electronic invoice submissions, resolve e-billing issues, and provide expert support to attorneys and clients while ensuring compliance with client guidelines.
Key responsibilities
- Submit electronic invoices and accruals monthly, overseeing client transitions to e-billing
- Act as a liaison between billing attorneys and clients, providing support for invoice resubmissions and corrective actions
- Maintain and update client data in billing systems and perform analyses of client accounts regarding collections and invoices
Required qualifications
- Associate degree or advanced degree preferred in Business, Accounting, or Finance, or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of e-billing experience in a corporate law department or law firm
- Familiarity with legal billing and Middleware systems, such as Legal Exchange or Serengeti/Legal Tracker
- Proficiency in Microsoft Applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Knowledge of various Legal Electronic Data Exchange Standard (LEDES) billing formats is a plus
