Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the E-Billing Analyst will manage invoice submissions through various e-billing platforms, resolve issues for clients, and provide high-level customer service to attorneys and management.
Key responsibilities
- Submit electronic invoices and accruals monthly, oversee client transitions to e-billing, and provide follow-up support
- Handle complex e-submission assignments for key corporate clients, ensuring adherence to client and firm guidelines
- Act as a liaison between billing attorneys and client representatives, facilitating invoice resubmissions and corrective actions
Required qualifications
- Associate degree or advanced degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance preferred; relevant experience may substitute for education
- 1+ years of e-billing experience within a corporate law department or law firm
- Familiarity with legal billing and Middleware systems (e.g., Legal Exchange, Ty Metrix 360, Serengeti/Legal Tracker) is a plus
- Proficiency in Windows-based software and Microsoft Applications, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Knowledge of various Legal Electronic Data Exchange Standard (LEDES) billing formats is advantageous
