E-commerce Engineering Team Lead

Job Summary

Leading a team of engineers, the full-time remote E-commerce Engineering Team Lead will oversee the delivery of updates and integrations across multiple brand storefronts on Shopify and Magento, ensuring stability and efficiency while leveraging AI to enhance productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of site updates, integrations, and fixes across five brand storefronts
• Ensure the reliability of storefronts and third-party integrations, including payments and analytics
• Facilitate intake and prioritization of business requests, coaching the engineering team to improve practices and output

Required qualifications

• Hands-on experience with e-commerce platforms, particularly Shopify (Hydrogen and Liquid), with Magento experience as a plus
• Full-stack expertise in APIs, third-party integrations, and payment systems
• Experience in leading or mentoring engineering teams and enhancing team performance
• Strong prioritization skills and ability to communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders
• Familiarity with using AI tools for code development and review
