E-Content Specialist

Job Summary

As a remote full-time E-Content Specialist, the successful candidate will build and maintain a comprehensive Global Knowledge Base (GKB), ensuring accurate metadata management for electronic resources while resolving data issues and collaborating with global providers.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with global providers to resolve data issues and obtain required metadata
• Analyze and ensure the quality and accuracy of publisher-supplied metadata, proactively identifying and remediating gaps
• Create, load, and maintain collections in the GKB, managing associated metadata for accurate indexing and discovery

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working with large datasets, metadata, or electronic resources
• 2+ years of experience coordinating with third-party vendors and managing high-volume communications
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and working with large datasets
• Experience with metadata standards such as KBART, MARC, Dublin Core, and ONIX
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, OneNote, Word, and SharePoint
