E-learning Developer

Job Summary

To support the mission of ending avoidable blindness, the remote E-learning Developer will create and maintain multi-language online courses for healthcare professionals, utilizing instructional design principles and advanced authoring tools.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the technical development of new online courses, including programming, testing, and quality assurance
• Support the upkeep and enhancement of existing online courses and related content to improve user experience
• Analyze course enrollments and completion rates, implementing strategies to increase engagement and monitor learner progress

Required qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in L&D, adult education/instructional design, or educational technology
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in e-learning content creation using instructional design principles
• Advanced proficiency in e-learning authoring platforms, particularly Articulate Rise 360 and Articulate Storyline 360
• Experience with Learning Management Systems and providing end-user support
• Hands-on experience with HTML5/CSS3 and JavaScript for enhancing e-learning courses
