Job Summary
Offering a client-centric experience, the full-time EAP Call Center Representative will connect callers to appropriate resources, screen for potential risk concerns, and facilitate connections to licensed professionals while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the initial point of contact for USPS employees and providers, demonstrating strong customer service skills
- Authenticate callers, verify demographics, and complete documentation in compliance with HIPAA and USPS standards
- Educate providers and members on EAP benefits, providing referrals to ensure timely access to care
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related healthcare field with 1-3 years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma with 3-5 years of experience in a healthcare setting
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, and data processing
- Ability to talk and type simultaneously while documenting information over the phone
- U.S. citizenship for at least 5 years and ability to pass a comprehensive background check
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
