EAP Referral Specialist

Job Summary

Assisting licensed behavioral health clinicians, the full-time EAP Referral Specialist will conduct telephonic searches for network providers with appointment availability, ensuring participants' needs and preferences are met in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Case Managers in securing appropriate referrals for members
• Create and send authorization letters and referral packets to affiliate providers
• Educate network affiliates regarding procedures and case management requirements

Required qualifications

• BS/BA degree preferred
• Excellent telephone and outstanding customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Intermediate computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
