Job Summary
Providing direct support to families of young children, the full-time Early Childhood Education Navigator will connect families to early childhood programs and developmental services, primarily working onsite at two clinic locations with one remote workday each week.
Key responsibilities
- Support families with children ages 0-5 by discussing available early childhood options, making referrals, and assisting with enrollment in community-based programs
- Collaborate with clinic staff to serve as an early childhood resource, providing education on referral pathways and maintaining resource materials
- Document referrals, follow-up activities, and outcomes accurately to support quality improvement efforts and data analysis
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of work experience, OR Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of work experience, OR Master's degree with no work experience
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, Child Development, Family Studies, or a related field
- Experience supporting families with enrollment in early childhood programs
- Familiarity with early childhood options for low-income families
- Knowledge of the Early Intervention system and preschool special education
