East Coast Commercial Counsel

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated East Coast Commercial Counsel, this full-time remote position will manage legal support for commercial and privacy matters, draft and negotiate agreements, and ensure compliance with regulations while collaborating with various stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including SAs, DPAs, and NDAs
• Manage and maintain standard contract templates and playbooks to streamline the contracting process
• Provide oversight for legal needs across business functions, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in-house or at a law firm, with at least 3 years in SaaS commercial law
• Proven success in negotiating B2B SaaS agreements, particularly in software security and compliance
• Experience in a start-up environment and building in-house legal teams is highly desirable
• Proficiency with G-Suite, DocuSign, and project management software
• Knowledge of privacy, cybersecurity, and product counseling is a plus
