Job Summary

A company is looking for an Eastern Europe Researcher to assist in the collection and management of political violence and protest data.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and code data on political violence and protests from various sources for Moldova, Romania, and Hungary
• Review and manage data to ensure quality, consistency, and reliability
• Submit weekly deliverables on assigned deadlines

Required Qualifications

• University degree in conflict studies, peacebuilding, international development, or a related field
• Familiarity with Excel
• Fluency in English and Romanian or Moldovan
• Experience conducting desk-based research
• Research focus or professional experience in conflict research or peace-building in Eastern Europe is advantageous
