Ecommerce Data Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Ecommerce Data & Analytics Engineer to work remotely and develop scalable data pipelines, reporting systems, and analytics capabilities to support ecommerce and omnichannel business operations.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes for integrating various data sources
- Develop centralized dashboards and reporting systems to enhance visibility into ecommerce performance metrics
- Analyze customer journeys and identify opportunities for conversion rate optimization and UX improvements
Required qualifications
- Minimum of a four-year degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- At least 3 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a related data-focused role
- Strong SQL skills and experience with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake or BigQuery
- Proficiency in Python and/or R for data transformation and analysis
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI and understanding of ecommerce analytics
