Ecommerce Engineering Director

Job Summary

Leading a high-performing engineering organization, the full-time remote Ecommerce Engineering Director will oversee the development and delivery of secure, scalable digital commerce solutions while driving modernization initiatives and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Build and mentor engineering teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and operational excellence
• Own the ecommerce engineering roadmap, managing strategic initiatives and improving delivery practices
• Provide technical leadership for ecommerce platforms, ensuring performance, scalability, and security

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred
• 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience, including enterprise ecommerce platforms
• 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams or technical organizations
• Strong understanding of modern ecommerce architectures and integrations
• Experience with Agile delivery, DevOps, and AI-enabled engineering tools
