Ecommerce Merchandise Planner

Job Summary

To support a growing e-commerce initiative, the contract Ecommerce Merchandise Planner will develop and execute demand and inventory plans, ensuring optimal product availability while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Creating and maintaining demand forecasts for various product styles, colors, and sizes based on historical data and marketing inputs
• Monitoring inventory health and collaborating with supply planning teams to manage stock levels effectively
• Partnering with digital merchandising and marketing teams to align on product launches and promotional activities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in retail, e-commerce, or demand planning, preferably in apparel or footwear
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with forecasting/planning tools
• Understanding of e-commerce KPIs such as conversion rates and inventory metrics
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing priorities
