Economics Instructor

Job Summary

Seeking mission-driven, student-centered Economics Instructors for remote contract positions, who will teach engaging online courses in Microeconomics and Macroeconomics while fostering an inclusive learning environment and providing timely feedback to students.

Key responsibilities

• Teach 11-week live, synchronous online courses using student-centered instructional strategies
• Evaluate student progress, maintain grade records, and provide constructive feedback
• Host weekly office hours and collaborate with Teaching Assistants to enhance course management

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in Economics, Applied Economics, Business, or a related field; PhD or equivalent advanced degree preferred
• At least 2 years of teaching experience at the undergraduate college/university level
• Experience teaching introductory college-level economics, with a focus on real-world applications
• Comfort with digital tools and platforms, including LMS and video conferencing
• Proactive commitment to high-quality online education and supporting diverse student backgrounds
