Job Summary
To support research in AI's economic and societal impacts, the full-time Economics & Policy Fellow will engage in empirical projects, collaborate with mentors, and contribute to public outputs while working remotely or from designated locations in London or Berkeley.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct empirical research on AI's economic effects using external data sources
- Develop new methodologies for studying AI's impact on labor markets and society
- Collaborate with mentors and contribute to actionable recommendations for policy improvements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as economics, social sciences, or a technical discipline
- Fluency in Python programming
- Strong interest in economics or policy research
- Ability to work full-time for the duration of the program (4 months)
- Adaptability and collaborative skills to contribute to team priorities
