Ecuador Finance Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Finance Director (Strategic Finance Lead) to lead financial operations and serve as a strategic partner to leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close process and ensure compliance with accounting regulations
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning while providing insights on profitability and cost structure
• Design and implement cost control frameworks and improve financial processes through automation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 4 to 6+ years of experience in finance/accounting roles with increasing responsibility
• Strong knowledge of Ecuadorian accounting and tax regulations and working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Proven experience in financial planning, modeling, and analysis (FP&A)
• Fluent in Spanish and English with advanced Excel/financial modeling skills
