Job Summary

A company is looking for an ED Coder (Full-time).

Key Responsibilities

• Review and code emergency department medical records for accuracy and compliance
• Ensure proper documentation and coding standards are maintained
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation as needed

Required Qualifications

• Certification in medical coding (e.g., CPC, CCS, or equivalent)
• Experience in coding emergency department services
• Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
• Understanding of medical terminology and anatomy
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in health information management preferred
