ED Coder Certification Required

Job Summary

Working remotely, the ED Coder Certification Required position will perform accurate coding assignments for ED records (facility and profee) while ensuring quality and productivity standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Perform accurate coding for emergency department records in an acute care setting
• Maintain coding quality of 95% or greater while meeting client productivity targets
• Utilize remote connectivity tools and office software for effective communication and data management

Required qualifications

• AHIMA or AAPC certification
• Minimum of three years' experience coding ED records in an acute care setting
• Technical competency with remote-based connectivity tools
• Proficiency in office software, including Outlook and Excel
• Commitment to a regular schedule with reliable attendance
