Edge Computing Expert

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Edge Processing / Edge Computing Expert.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in client-facing meetings to explain and defend proposed edge computing architecture
• Translate business needs into technical requirements and design scalable, robust edge processing systems
• Provide guidance on AI/ML model deployment at the edge and advise on hardware/software selection for in-vehicle processing setups

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in projects involving edge computing or edge AI, ideally in real-time data processing environments
• Familiarity with embedded systems, on-vehicle computing, and sensor data fusion
• Solid understanding of machine learning for feature extraction from imagery or LiDAR
• Experience in automotive, GIS, or mapping technologies is a major plus
• Understanding of cloud-edge integration patterns
