EDI Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for an EDI Analyst responsible for developing and implementing electronic data interchange files between the company and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Integrate new vendor relationships using EDI and various file layouts
• Document the scope of work during integration, including customizations and data mapping
• Coordinate and test EDI feeds with external carriers and manage production EDI issues

Required Qualifications

• Solid technical understanding of EDI files and adjudication system requirements
• Proficiency in various connectivity solutions and MS Office applications
• Experience with SQL and understanding of relational database concepts
• 2-4 years of experience in a healthcare delivery or business setting preferred
• Compliance with HIPAA obligations related to Protected Health Information (PHI)
