EDI Analyst II

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced EDI Analyst II for a full-time remote position focused on optimizing healthcare EDI integrations, primarily working with ANSI X12 5010 835 Electronic Remittance Advice transactions, troubleshooting complex issues, and improving processes through automation and AI tools.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and troubleshoot complex ANSI X12 5010 835 (ERA) transactions, identifying processing and compliance issues
• Design and maintain EDI integration workflows, data mappings, and technical documentation
• Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and trading partners to resolve integration and workflow challenges

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5-7+ years of healthcare EDI experience, including 3-5+ years with HIPAA ANSI X12 835 transactions
• Strong understanding of the healthcare claims lifecycle and payment processing
• Experience with EDI validation tools and ANSI X12 standards
• Advanced SQL and data analysis skills; experience with Microsoft SQL Server preferred
