EDI/API Integration Engineer

Job Summary

Collaborating closely with customers and various business functions, the full-time remote EDI/API Integration Engineer will manage customer onboarding and integration services, focusing on B2B and B2C interfacing in the freight forwarding and brokerage domains.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the execution of customer onboarding and integration services, ensuring alignment with customer SOPs
• Coordinate all stages of integration from initiation calls to testing and final publication, liaising with IT and other departments
• Develop clear requirements for integration and support testing processes, including writing UAT and end-to-end test scripts

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Logistics, Information Technology, or a related field
• Three years of professional experience in freight forwarding and logistics onboarding with EDI/API message sets
• Hands-on experience with EDI specifications (EDIFACT/X12) and API interfaces (json/xml)
• Familiarity with Agile methodology for creating use cases and user stories
• Experience with CargoWise or similar freight and brokerage systems is preferred
