EDI Architect

Job Summary

A company is looking for an EDI Architect.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable solutions for a proprietary EDI gateway platform
• Design, develop, and maintain healthcare data workflows involving X12, FHIR, HL7, and related formats
• Collaborate cross-functionally with business stakeholders, product managers, and operations teams to drive end-to-end EDI transaction solutions

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on backend systems and healthcare data integrations
• Strong understanding of EDI transaction sets and FHIR workflows
• Hands-on experience building EDI gateways or working within platforms that process healthcare transactions
• Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#, with an emphasis on backend systems architecture
• Demonstrated success in roles of increasing responsibility, with direct impact on both technical direction and business outcomes
