EDI Data Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for an EDI & Database Product Engineer to manage and optimize their billing system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and optimize EDI transactions and database environments
- Write and execute SQL queries and develop ETL scripts for data management
- Gather requirements and drive product improvements through collaboration with internal teams and payor EDI representatives
Qualifications & Experience:
- Strong knowledge of ANSI X12 transactions (837, 835, 277, 276, 270, 271, 834)
- 3-5 years of experience with SQL Server and MySQL, including query writing and database optimizations
- Experience in writing ETL scripts and managing large data sets
- Familiarity with healthcare, Medicaid, or managed care billing systems
- Knowledge of scripting languages for automation
