EDI Engineer
Job Summary
To support the modernization of EDI platforms within the healthcare sector, the full-time remote EDI Engineer will manage data transformation processes, ensure accurate data mapping, and monitor the performance of deployed EDI applications.
Key responsibilities
- Manage data transformation processes for EDI transactions and healthcare-specific formats
- Monitor the performance, health, and resource utilization of deployed EDI applications
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate applications using APIs and EDI
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5 or more years of experience in designing, developing, and testing software applications
- Experience with EDI (x12 HIPAA transactions); FHIR experience is a plus
- Proficiency in backend development using Java or Golang
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
