Job Summary

A company is looking for an EDI Mainframe Developer for a 12-month remote contract position.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and debug applications using COBOL, DB2, CICS, VSAM, JCL, and SCLM
Execute various forms of testing and manage implementation planning and coordination
Provide technical solutions to problems, fix job abends, and implement minor enhancements

Qualifications:

Experience in COBOL + DB2 development with EDI knowledge
Proficiency in writing queries for DB2 and promoting code to production
Familiarity with IBM Sterling Integrator, map development, and various file formats
Knowledge of DB2+SQL, XML, XSLT, Web services, APIs, FTP/SFTP, Java, and JavaScript
Willingness to learn new technologies and collaborate with the team
