EDI Payments Technologist
Job Summary
To support healthcare data exchange, the full-time EDI Payments Technologist will design and develop ingestion processes for payment and remittance files, collaborating with client banks and trading partners while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support the ingestion of bank payment and remittance files into proprietary systems
- Collaborate with client banks and trading partners to onboard and support new file formats
- Monitor inbound file processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with SLAs
Required qualifications
- Strong experience reading and working with .NET code, particularly C#
- Hands-on experience with SQL and Python
- Knowledge of EDI concepts and best practices in healthcare, including HIPAA X12 v5010, especially 835
- Experience with file ingestion, parsing, and transformation, particularly with PDFs
- Familiarity with healthcare business processes such as claims and remittance
