Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the EDI Technician will monitor and maintain Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) eligibility files, analyze EDI transactions for accuracy, and contribute to the team's success by ensuring timely processing and file maintenance.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and process eligibility discrepancies while communicating issues to clients to meet production and quality standards
- Evaluate and maintain employee eligibility, ensuring compliance with policyholder contracts and legal requirements
- Review and analyze submitted data, initiate correspondence for missing information, and educate policyholders and brokers
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of prior EDI experience with strong troubleshooting and data analysis skills
- Proven customer service background, ideally in a call center setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with exceptional data entry skills
- Highly organized with strong time management skills to prioritize and manage multiple projects
- Ability to work remotely with access to high-speed internet and located in the United States or Puerto Rico
