EDI Technologist
Job Summary
Supporting healthcare data exchange, the full-time remote EDI Technologist will design and develop ingestion processes for bank payment and remittance files, collaborate with client banks, and automate file processing while ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support the ingestion of bank payment and remittance files into proprietary systems
- Collaborate with client banks and trading partners to onboard and support new file formats
- Monitor inbound file processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and SLA compliance
Required qualifications
- Strong experience reading and working with .NET code, including C#
- Practical experience with file ingestion, parsing, and transformation
- Knowledge of EDI concepts and best practices in healthcare, particularly HIPAA X12 v5010, especially 835
- Experience with SQL and Python
- Familiarity with healthcare business processes such as claims and remittance
